When you give us your personal information, we will process and use that data in accordance with our responsibilities under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and other relevant legislation. We respect your privacy and take extra technical and organisational measures to make sure your data is processed securely, protected against loss and unauthorised access.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct usage of information, we monitor and adjust our physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your personal data whilst in our care, or in the care of any outside suppliers with whom we may contract to process your data on our behalf. Any third party suppliers are under strict contractual terms to mirror the security policies that we currently have in place.

These are typically information that you provide in your interactions with us. This includes when you register to use our online and off-line services, or when you subscribe to our services or request further services and/or information from us.

  • Transaction information: such as the product you purchased, its price, your method of payment. Please note that if you provide payment information, we simply create payment instructions and pass them to our payment gateway provider in a secure manner. We NEVER have access to or retain your payment details.
  • Account information: like your username, password, and other identifiers or credentials you use to access our online services or to buy our products and services, details of your shopping preferences, such as your favourite brands and products, details of your visits to our website, the resources that you access. Examples include ads that you click, device information and your location.
  • Technical information: IP address, cookie data, browser type and version, time zone, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.
  • Direct contact: This is where you have created an account on our website, app or filled in any of our forms (online or offline) or corresponded with us via email, phone, post or social media.

  • Legal Obligation: If required to by law, under any code of practice by which we are bound or we’re asked to do so by a public or regulatory authority such as the Police or the Department for Work and Pensions.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

  • The right to rectification – You are entitled to have the information regarding you corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

Your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences is also important. It is our hope that you will benefit from all the communications we send out to you.
